We are pleased to provide this information below from Purge Virus regarding their offerings for PTAC Disinfection.

The Purge Virus team provides multiple solutions that include UV light, Photoplasma, and Bipolar Ionization. The Bipolar Ionization solutions have been well received, because in addition to helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they also remove odors from sources such as tobacco and cannabis.

PURGE VIRUS DOESN’T MAKE PTAC UNITS…THEY RETROFIT THEM TO DISINFECT INDOOR AIR.

For Purge Virus to match the available technology to your in-room HVAC systems, you can let them know the manufacturer’s name and model # of your PTAC Units. From there Purge Virus will provide you with a free assessment of the most applicable solution. The average cost of equipment and installation per room is coming in at $550-$650. Purge Virus also offers zero upfront cost financing over 3-5 years. The monthly cost can be as low as $10 per month per room.

NEWS on COVID-19 in Utah:  https://kutv.com/news/local/dec-22-data-12-more-utah-covid-19-deaths-vaccinated-numbers-continue-to-grow

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Twelve Utah residents have been reported killed by the COVID-19 virus as a deadly December in the state draws close to Christmas. Hospitalizations are creeping downward but the state reported 2,302 new confirmed cases of coronavirus.

The rolling seven-day average for positive tests is 2,478 per day. More data about the deaths is detailed below.

Utah now tracks vaccines administered along with COVID-19 cases, tests, hospitalizations and deaths. The vaccine requires two doses and the count is now 8,518.

Daggett County is the only county in the state that is not currently in a "very high rate" of transmission. The state measures 14-day case rate per 100,000 people for each county to get a rating. The lone county not in a very high rate is even below the "low rate" mark. It's 14-day incidence is between one and five cases, according to the chart on the state's COVID-19 website coronavirus.utah.gov/case-counts/.

Every other county has a rate over 200 per 100,000 residents. For example Utah County has a rate of 1,252.8, while Salt Lake's rate is 1,014.6 and Davis is 1,050.3. San Juan County in southeastern Utah has similar rates with 1,035.7 per 100,000 residents, although with a much smaller population it has only 160 cases in the last 14 days, compared to Utah County's 7,857 cases.
