In his typical ‘fearless’ fashion, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers another devastating chess move against carbon emissions by sparking the organic fuel revolution. At a press conference on the steps of the State Capitol the Governor stated, “We always want to celebrate California’s creativity, innovation, and ingenuity, especially when it comes to green technology that is inspired by our groundbreaking environmental policies.” After attending the last year’s Green Expo in Los Angeles, the Governor discovered a new, disruptive technology and told the developers, “one day when you’re ready, we should have this at the capitol steps”. Now, given the impeccable timing of summer fuel prices climbing again, E Fuel Corp. unveiled today the final production model of the revolutionary E-Fuel MicroFueler, a portable micro-refinery fuel system for consumer use. As the world's first portable ethanol micro-refinery system, it replaces the traditional ethanol reflux column system with a solid state distillation technology making it possible for homeowners and small businesses to cost-effectively create their own fuel on-site and replace fossil fuels altogether. A ‘green leader’ policy that led up to yesterday’s press conference was Assembly Bill 236. Signed into law back in 2007, the bill required the Department of General Services to purchase only highly efficient alternative fuel vehicles, mandating that those cars be run on alternative fuels by July 1, 2009 and requiring a plan to reduce the State’s gasoline consumption by 20% by 2020. The Department of General Services is now exploring a pilot program to test the MicroFueler with its fleet of flex-fuel vehicles. Many green investors traveled to Sacramento to attend the launch as onsite fuel production is now available. Notably, the organic fuel is produced using carbohydrate waste products found abundantly in brewery waste, algae and cellulose (no corn or food-based products). “We at the Eco Investment Club urge investors to take a second look at consumer goods and serves companies this year, especially those that can enhance the scaling-up of biofuels,” says Yeves Perez, the club’s founder. In response to the Governor’s bold actions, the Eco Investment Club has awarded Governor Schwarzenegger lifetime membership and the honorary title of Climate Changer™ in recognition for his service and demonstrated eagerness to reduce carbon emissions for the State of California. "40 percent of California's greenhouse gas emissions come from transportation fuels, so imagine what we can accomplish if we improve efficiency and put more alternatives on the road," urged the Governor back in 2007. Yesterday, he took the fight to the homes of everyday consumers and commercial fleets. The MicroFuelers’ unveiling was orchestrated by Hollywood’s “Green King”, John Sheinberg, Brand Neutral’s CEO, Tom Feegel, and co produced by Green House, the exclusive distributor of the E-Fuel MicroFueler in Southern California and Arizona.
