Solar hot water heater (Paul)

While working on the roof repairing slate shingles in 1878, John Elmer Barnum fell asleep leaving his water jug sitting in the sun. Upon awakening, John Elmer reached for his water as he was parched and desired refreshment. Taking a huge chug from the jug, John Elmer burned his lips, startling him, and causing him to lose his balance and fall off the roof. Though tragic in nature, Mr. Barnum's accident led to the discovery of solar hot water heat and also gutters and safety harnesses and well you get the point. And the rest is as they say "GREEN HISTORY";
