Music & Introduction (Paul) - 3:00

Introduction -Welcome to our 4th show . I hope you're beginning to enjoy our tips, guests, information and onsite interviews.
Over the next few weeks we'll be introducing more characters, knowledgeable guests, and special segments
We're going to start an education segment don't worry, it wont be boring it will however start to define a lot of what we're talking about and a lot about what we're seeing in the press Today we talk about Biomass... what is that stuff?

Sometimes we go off on tangents and forget that some of this information is new to a lot of you as well as us ..
We will also be featuring guests who will be talking about one of the real challenges facing us now and in the future
change just that, making a change, changing a routine, a habit; the hardest thing is not knowing what to do, but actually doing it making the switch For Me its turning out lights. I don't know why, but I find it really interesting, and I want to know what makes such simple things so hard to remember to do At The same time we'll try to blend in a little humor to keep things fun and help you digest information. We'll do our best to entertain and educate as we all move forward and hopefully give helpful information on saving money and reducing your consumption of energy without reducing the quality of your lifestyle. So good luck, keep listening and keep in mind, every situation is different, yours is too, so you get to decide . AND REMEMBER, DOING SOMETHING ANYTHING NO MATTER HOW SMALL IT MAY SEEM, ALWAYS COUNTS, and it starts the ball rolling.

Each week we are visited by guests and the show has many, such as The Green Fox, On Location with Cletus ( what is he Doug?), Trash Man and Solar dog, Strange and Great Moments in Green History, Sister Mary Chlorophyll, The Too Late Late Show, ECSI DELMARVA, and others.

Energy Crime Scene Investigation

This week's episode takes place in Newark, Delaware at the home of Middle School teacher Stanley Karanski, a crime has been committed and our ECSI Team is called in to investigate... ..

I was minding my own business, sitting behind my desk with my feet up as usual, when the call came in. My Assistant Investigator, Tammy Argyle, was late again, so I answered it myself. "Energy Crime Scene Investigation, Jake Unguruhurr speaking"; I said in my coolest film noir voice. "Oh my Gosh, you have to come right away!!! These energy bills are killing us!!! the caller shrieked. I took down her name and address and assured her we'd be right over. Tammy showed up just as I was walking out the door. "Let's go Nose"; I said. I call her "Nose"; because she has a "Nose"; for Energy Crime Clues.

Minutes later we arrived at the scene. Alejandro Rojas Vasquez O'Reilly, our best lab technician was already there. "Whatta we got?"; I asked.

"Wife's inside speaking with the blues"; he said. Blues are what we call uniform cops. "Looks like the ‘bill' got to ‘im"; he finished. I could hardly believe it. It seemed as though another homeowner had been "killed"; by his electric bill. Tammy walked up from the side of the house. "Electric meter's spinning like a dreidel on Hannukah"; she chirped. That seemed a little odd since the house was completely dark. Once inside, we took over for the Blues. "Ma'am, did you leave anything on? Anything at all ma'am?"; I asked the sobbing widow. "I don't think so. Maybe the cat accidentally turned on the vaccuum";, she said weeping. I looked over at the corpse. The "vic"; still had the electric bill in his hand. I turned back to his wife. "Not likely ma'am";, I said. "Cat has an alibi airtight I'm afraid the dog can corroborate";. "I don't know. Maybe the light stays on when the fridge door is closed. I just don't know!!!"; she offered excitedly. I walked over the computer desk to take a quick peek at the peripherals. "Oh my gosh, did I leave the printer turned on?!!"; asked the widow Karanski. "The fax ma'am . just the fax"; I replied.

We began to look for other clues and Tammy and I found them everywhere phantom loads from electronic equipment that use remotes, like TVs and stereos. Cell phone chargers plugged in when they weren't charging a phone. The kids left the Xbox turned on. An open microwave door light from the internal bulb spilling out on the kitchen counter. It was ugly. "Ma'am. I think I found what killed your husband. We call ‘em ‘GHOST LOADS' and they're deadly"; I explained. "You think you've turned off the TV, but the unit requires energy to keep it in standby mode so you can use the remote. That cell phone charger still uses electricity, even when the phone not plugged in. I'm sorry for your loss ma'am, but we have some work to do if we're gonna keep you safe from the same evil";. I continued "Ma'am, we're gonna send over some Home Energy Auditors. They can make your house safe again";. When are people gonna learn?, I thought to myself. If we could only educate people how to use energy properly, we could end killer electric bills forever. I headed back to the office, knowing the phone would ring again soon far too soon.

Good morning, Pleas take a seat today's word and topic is biomass..who can tell me ..

Biomass ( Organic matter)can be used to provide heat, make fuels, chemicals and other products, and generate electricity. Example ..wood is one of the oldest and most commonly used examples of biomass burning it produces heat to give us warmth or fire boilers to do other jobs
... other sources include plants, aquatic plants, animal waste, organic compounds from municipal and, industrial waste which can be used to produce fuels and chemicals, and power. Biomass resources can be replenished through cultivation of energy crops such as fast growing trees and grasses.

Unlike other renewable energy sources, biomass can be converted directly into liquid fuels for our transportation needs. The two most common bio-fuels are ethanol and bio-diesel.
Ethanol is made by fermenting any biomass high in carbohydrates, like corn, through a process similar to brewing beer. It is mostly used as a fuel additive, to cut down on a vehicles carbon monoxide and other smog causing emissions. Bio-diesel is, an ester, ( I have no Idea what that is ) is made using vegetable oils, animal fats, algae 9 cool 0, or even recycled cooking greases. It can be used as an additive to diesel or all on its own to power a vehicle.

Comments: power loss, minimal, but less pollution, and it could satisfy almost 5% of our transport needs in this country - downside..raising food prices for corn and other grains .even if we took all the grain produced in this country we would only get about 15% of the fuel we need or now use ..

Overall Segment #4 - 9:00

Too Late Late Show - 3:30

And now it's time for the Too Late Late Show for May 19, 2057 with your vulture host Johnny Corpson. Tonight, Johnny's guest is Joan Rivers and his Musical Guests .. The Dead Crows . Their music will slay you. I'm Ed McDeadman. And now Heeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!!!

Welcome to the Too Late Late Show .if you listening your either dead or just about to cash it in. We're here in our studio high atop the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, New Jersey. You know Ed, I'm still trying to figure out how we got here.

Well we flew in 2 years ago for a Vultures Convention, (and boy, are our arms tired) and we liked it here. God knows it was too hot in Burbank.

So now we're in Atlantic City. The Donald's Dead but his hair lives on they had 2 Bald Eagles bidding on it on ebay for months nothing is more pathetic than our national symbol flying around wearing a bad rug. Am I right?

You Know when we first got here in 2055, it was only about 110 degrees out in May we loved it here even though the temperature is a cool 115 in the shade now only two years later, ( How's my tan?, That George Hamilton got nuttin' on me How he's still alive I don't know, but he makes me so hungry)... ..with this temperature, who needs a microwave? The asphalt in the parking lot here is like a huge George Foreman Grill... .. ahh yes George Foreman now he was a guest who just wouldn't leave, and now he cant leave he must of lasted at least a month, that was one of our best and longest running Guest series, I hated to see him go. We didn't need to eat for weeks after that frankly I was running out of boxing questions anyway. Yeah, that George was a great guest .well, enough with the Georges ..

Anyway, when you're a guest on this show you remain forever in our hearts and in our stomachs (canned laughter) Let's get on with the show. I'm getting hungry.
Our Guest today is Joan Rivers (clapping . then gasping)
Joan you LOOK well you look Just .unbelievable .I mean you look great how many facelifts are we up to now 45 - 50? . and great dental work too bad it's on your forehead ..
--Joan, now that Miami is a balmy 125 degrees during the winter, I'm seeing more and more of you Sunbirds up here during the season, lots of Sunbirds here permanently and you know what we mean when we say permanently

What we really want to talk about is your new clothing and jewelry line. I hear it's pretty cutting edge . not!!!

Well Johnny, I'm using recycled cans and bottles and twigs and things to make some of the most adorable jewelry you've ever seen, and we're using old rugs (not the toupee variety) you know, carpets and recycled clothing to make some really hip outerwear. Throwing away all that stuff isn't good for our planet you know Johnny.

Sounds nice Joan. That's good information... ... that would've been useful 50 years ago!!! Joan, baby, sweetie, boobie . it's too late! We don't call it the Too Late Late Show for nothing! Why don't you take the walker and head back to the Green room. Thanks for coming on the show Joan.

Didn't she look great? She'd look better on a barbeque spit maybe with a side of braised roadkill.

Anyway, join us next week when our guest is George Steinbrenner. Hey can we pleeeeeeease get off the Georges? Mr. Steinbrenner is going to tell us about the most recent renovations to Yankee Stadium. Have a great week everybody!
