On Saturday 7.26.14 Eric Bolling shared his “Energy Fix” via a 3 PART SOLUTION in the Commentary segment of the Cashin’ In, show, which he hosts as part of the FOX News Business Block airing on Saturdays. His commentary was in response to rising gas prices approaching $5 per gallon. Mr. Bolling’s ideas included Expediting Fracking Permits, Opening up more Offshore Drilling, and approving the Keystone Pipeline. He identified that America currently has a daily 8 million barrel challenge, given that the U.S. only produces 10 million barrels of oil every day relative to the 18 million barrels of daily appetite. He brought up fracking as a means to add 2 million barrels per day and new drilling as a means to add 5 million daily barrels over time. Plus, he raised the Keystone Pipeline as an additional path to American energy independence.
