GREATER PHILIDELPHIA, PA - (January 18, 2010) GREENandSAVE, a leader in green living and energy efficiency, is proud to announce their sponsorship of eco race car driver Leilani Münter and Mark Gibson Racing at Daytona International Speedway on February 6, 2010. Leilani will make her debut in the ARCA Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards behind the wheel of the #59 Mark Gibson Racing Dodge. Leilani was 7th quick at Daytona last month with a speed of 181.77 mph on the on the last of the three-day open test where more than 80 drivers participated.

"GREENandSAVE is pleased to support Leilani in the Daytona race and bring the 'green' American Energy Independence message to the main stream of over 75 million U.S. race fans," said Charlie Szoradi, President and CEO of GREENandSAVE, "Given the short notice and that we have co-branding room on the race car, as well as the ability to run banner ads across our website, we are welcoming like minded companies to join us in bringing the green movement to the number one spectator sport in America."

With Leilani making her debut at Daytona alongside open wheel star Danica Patrick, it is obvious that the face of stock car racing is changing. Not only with two new female race car drivers on the circuit - but with environmentally conscious companies like GREENandSAVE coming on board. Leilani was recently featured in Sporting News Magazine as one of the top ten in their list of the "50 Most Beautiful People in NASCAR." She was featured alongside another environmentally aware driver, NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Brian Vickers. Sporting News dubbed Leilani and Brian "Eco Warriors" on their cover.

The partnership between GREENandSAVE fits well with Leilani's eco minded lifestyle. The driver's house features solar powered outdoor lighting, rainwater collection barrels, a compost center, an organic vegetable garden and GREENandSAVE is retrofitting her house to be completely lit by Light Emitting Diodes (LED) light bulbs, which can cut lighting energy costs by 80%. GREENandSAVE will also be retrofitting the lighting at Mark Gibson Racing's 10,000 square foot facility in Statham, Georgia. Leilani has been an outspoken advocate of environmental issues, serving as the first Ambassador for the National Wildlife Federation and making trips to Capitol Hill to speak to members of Congress on environmental legislation. Leilani is not new to the green scene. She holds a degree in biology from the University of California San Diego and since 2007 she has been adopting an acre of rainforest for every race she runs in order to offset the carbon footprint of her race car. NASCAR has also been making steps towards "greening" their sport by hiring Mike Lynch as the managing director of green innovation at NASCAR.

"I am thrilled to be working with GREENandSAVE and am excited to spread the message about how easily America can save money and make a positive impact on the environment," said Leilani, "We have been working together on our LED lighting program and now I am thrilled to be able to carry these messages of energy efficiency and independence for America on my race car."

The 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season kicks off on February 6, 2010 with the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway. The race, which will air live on SPEED at 4:00 PM ET, is after NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying for the Daytona 500 and precedes NASCAR Sprint Cup Series All-Star race, the Budweiser Shootout.

GREENandSAVE and Leilani's partnership will continue throughout the 2010 racing season and beyond. Any company that wants to go green and save money can do it by signing up for their lighting upgrades with LED lights that reduce electricity demand by up to 80 percent. This program allows companies to reduce energy costs immediately without spending a dime. GREENandSAVE has created the ground breaking "Savings Share" program that gives the property owners and managers a $0 start up cost advantage since they only pay for the cost of the retrofit from a portion of the actual money saved each month. The program is cash flow positive for companies from the start. As an additional benefit, companies that initiate the LED lighting retrofits will receive sponsorship exposure through Leilani's 2010 race program.

GREENandSAVE and Leilani Münter would like to welcome not only like minded 'green' companies to join in the fun at Daytona, but also any companies that are looking to save money and go green by doing the simple action of changing out their light bulbs.
