The system uses no fossil fuels and provide comfort year-round, with zero CO2 emissions, for a fraction of the operating cost of conventional HVAC systems. Geothermal systems also have fewer moving parts than conventional systems, so they are more reliable and require less maintenance, so they last for decades.

The ROI Calculation is based on saving $250 per month in heating and cooling bills. To also get a $300 Tax Credit get a Geo-Thermal system with a minimum of EER 14.1 COP 3.3 closed loop, EER 16.2 COP 3.6 open loop, or EER 15 COP 3.5 direct expansion.

Look for Geothermal integration to
combine a Furnace, Air Conditioner, and
Boiler together in one system. You get
forced air heating and cooling, plus the
system generates hot water for radiant

Insulated Ducts

Increase the insulation on your ducts to a minimum of R-6.

First, conduct thorough air sealing. Adding insulation may make some air leaks difficult to access. The insulation itself typically will not stop these leaks. Air flowing through the insulation will waste energy. Moist air can damage the insulation and reduce its effectiveness.

If you are undertaking a remodeling project
make sure that the sheet metal ‘box’ ducts
and the tubular rigid or flex ones are well
insulated before the walls get closed up.
For existing homes, check the crawl spaces
and areas like garages first, before incurring

from blow-in insulation.

Insulated Basement Walls

Select a 'Formaldehyde-Free' insulation to save on air quality and health.
