I am sad to say that currently, we do not recycle. My children have been after me for years to start. Well, I am ready. I do, however, have a few questions. I want to buy trash containers for each recycled item. I thought paper/cardboard in one receptacle, tin and cans in another. Can I put cardboard and paper items in one trash bin? Can I put a liner in each trash receptacle? If so, how does my recycle guy know what is in each bag for pick up? Any other suggestions? Thank you for your help!

It is never too late to start the 3 Rs, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Most municipalities take paper and corrugated cardboard together but each one has different policies. It is best for you to check with your local representative or municipal website to see the exact policy on pickup.
