Behold the sOccket!

It's a soccer ball. And a power supply.

Fifteen minutes of play stores enough electricity to power an LED reading light for three hours. And, hopefully, that's just the beginning. Only prototype sOcckets exist at the moment. The developers are hard at work on the next generation: tougher, lighter, more powerful balls. Give them a little time and a little help, they say, and sOcckets will be rolling into every off-the-grid, footballing playground in the world.
