White House Ready to Learn More About Clean Coal

Following up on his discussion with House Republicans over the weekend, he invited a few coal state governors to the White House today, and one big topic of conversation was clean coal.
Obama announced - both at the meeting and to the rest of the world - that he's creating a "carbon capture and storage task force" and charging it with "figuring out how we can deploy affordable clean coal technology."
He wants "commercial demonstration projects," and he wants them as soon as possible. He wants to find out if clean coal is something that can actually happen. And it looks like he wants pro-coal lawmakers to participate in that investigation.
