Are Your Undies Made Out Of Banana Bark?

We didn't think so.

Neither are ours.

At least not yet.

Have a look at AussieBum's new tightie whities. They're made of organic cotton, bark fibers from banana trees, and lycra (for elasticity in the waistband). And banana fibers could be a textile component to watch, given the generally low environmental impact of banana tree cultivation.

Thank you, PSFK.

I never thought that banna trees can be used in making this tightie whities. Though I know some other fruits that was commonly used before for making other clothes.
