Green Collar Job

Hello! I recently was asked an interesting question. Whats the definition of a "Green Collar Job"... I heard Hilary Clinton say something about it. Wanted to know if anyone could elaborate.

A very good question which there are many answers I am sure. I would go with the rule of thumb that a Green Collar Job is employment that directly promotes Energy Independence by promoting efficiency or renewable energy sources and/or directly promotes a healthier planet.
