Launchpad CURRICULUM
The Home Efficiency Consulting Curriculum is focused on teaching the Eco Academy students the most cost-effective ways for homeowners to create energy savings and healthier homes. Students learn about the Return on Investment approach and the home as an ‘organism’ vs. as an ‘object’. Students also learn the techniques that can save a homeowner $500 with just an hour of tune-ups that require no tools or expertise at all.
You will learn the fundamentals of how to save money on home utilities, extract the key information from utility bills and spot the savings and efficiency opportunities via room by room walk-throughs. You will also learn how to use data like Home Heating Indexes, Base Load Electric and Water Consumption to guide recommendations that have the best payback. You will also learn over 100 real world tactics from shower heads to solar panels to save homeowners money, and you'll see the hierarchy of the payback!
